William West son of Nathaniel West and Ann Harris was born in 1800 in
Chippenham, Cambridgeshire, England. He was baptized on May 8, 1803 in
Chippenham, Cambridgeshire, England. He died on January 3, 1881 in 
Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery in Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA. On July 11, 1829 in Isleham, Cambridgeshire, England
he married Mary Woodruff and they had six known children at this time:
Anne Woodruff West(Henry P. Whipple), John(Minerva Malvina Cook), James 
(Sarah Ann Brown), Mary(John Edwin Curtis), Susan(Daniel Miller) and Edward 
West.
