Eugene Austin Wheeler son of Elijah Wheeler and Sarah Kate Porter was born on
August 16, 1886 in Shiloh, Ionia, Michigan USA. He died on January 13, 1952 in
Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at Fairview Cemetery in Dansville, 
Ingham, Michigan USA. He married Bernice Helen Godley on October 31, 1910 in 
Unadilla Township, Washtenaw, Michigan USA by W. T. Barnum, Justice of the Peace
with witnesses Mrs. Lena Hudler and Mrs. Sarah Barnum and they had seven children: 
Scott Elijah(Lorraine Inez Bishop), Harold Austin(Dorothy Jean McClung), Asenath
Kate,  Roscoe E(Caroline Jane Durham), Everett W, Rachel Dora(Ronald Parisian)
and Forrest Earl Wheeler(Deanna Lee Ludicke).
