                             JOSIAH WOLCOTT
                               1844 - 1896
                       SECTION 2, LOT 289, SPACE 6 

Josiah Wolcott son of James Wolcott and Azuba "Azubia" W. Bassett was one of a
set of twin boys born on October 21, 1844 in Monterey, Berkshire, Massachusetts 
USA. He died on October 21, 1896 in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA and buried at 
Fairview Cemetery in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA. In 1865 he married Adelia 
"Cordelia" B. Taylor and they had five children: Birt Jersome(Ocea A. Evans), Baby 
Wolcott, Lemuel, twins Cora Amelia (Harry C. Coppernoll) and Nora Adelia Wolcott
who were raised by Martha Eliza Wolcott Koch after their mother died on January 
15, 1876 five days after the birth of her twin daughters. On July 21, 1878 in 
Waterloo Twp, Jackson, Michigan USA Josiah married Adda "Addie" Bell Dennis 
daughter of James Pattin Dennis and Abigail Garrison. Addie and Josiah had four
children: Ernest Josiah (Cora B. Glidden), Gay Dustin (Grace Alberta Godfrey),
Frederick "Fred" Eugene (Ethel Marguerite Baguley)(Pearl C. Patrick) and
Vernon Joseph Wolcott (Florence E. Taylor)(Beryl Cromie).
