The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 8, 1970

Walter B. Alexander, 64, died Saturday at his home at 610 Academy, Portland.  
He was general manager and salesman for Whipple Photo Finishing company of 
Standish.

He was a 32nd degree Mason, belonging to the Portland lodge 31 F&AM, Portland 
chapter 39 RAM, Portland council 23 R&SM, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and 
Saladin Shrine of Grand Rapids.

Surviving are his wife Cirrue; two sons, Allen E. of Metairie, La., and James 
B. of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Enid McViccar of 
Lansing.
