Mrs. Armstrong was a pioneer of Lyons township coming to the locality while very young. Before the death of her husband about 18 years ago, she lived on the farm belonging to Emery Townsend across from the Stone school in the fractional Ionia and Lyons township district. Surviving is a daughter, Grace, a nurse in Camden, N.J. who was expected to arrive in Muir Tuesday afternoon. Funeral arrangements will not be completed until the daughter’s arrival. Mrs. Armstrong also leaves a sister and two brothers in the East.
