She was born in Berlin Township on January 12, 1921 the daughter of Fred and Ulah Robinson Patrick. She attended Eddy rural school and Ionia High School graduating in 1937. She then attended Lansing Community College. She married Donald Badder on September 23, 1939 in Saranac, The couple made their home in Rural Ionia all of their married life. She worked as a waitress at Corcoran's in Ionia for over 20 years and at Pete's in Ionia for two years prior to her health retirement. She was a member of the LaValley United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Donald, four sons, Don, Belmont and Dwight of Ionia, and James of Belding; two daughters, Ula Taylor of Ionia and Ardella Pohl of Woodland, 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Patrick of Kalamazoo; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Lois) Bell of North Carolina. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Leddick Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Lloyd Walker of Jonesville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Tuttle cemetery. Friends and relatives may visit at Leddick's Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be left a the funeral home.
