Roy B. Baird, 65, of South Ionia died Wednesday evening at 10 o'clock at the 
Ionia Convalescent Home.

He was born in Amble, September 10, 1889 and came to Ionia at the age of 25 
where he has been a farmer.

Surviving are one son, Russell Baird of Ionia, and one daughter, Mrs. 
Virginia Maynard of South Ionia; four grandchildren; two brothers, William 
B. Baird of Belmont and John Baird of Green Bay, Wis.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Myers 
funeral home.

Interment will be at Balcom cemetery.

Funeral services for Roy B. Baird of South Ionia, who died Wednesday evening 
at Ionia Convalescent Home, were held Saturday afternoon at Myers funeral 
home at 2 o'clock with the Rev. C. O. Adams conducting the service.

Interment was at Balcom cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harry, Charles, Glen, Lewis, Paul, and Harrison Young.

Those attending from out of town were William Baird of Belmont, Mrs. Mildred 
Baird, Andrew White and Carol of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Young and 
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nobes of Muir, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Young, Paul Young and 
Gladys Blough of Saranac and Charles Maynard of Lyons.
