The Lake Odessa Wave, Thursday, April 26, 1928
News reached this office Wednesday about noon of the death of Wm. Barker, in 
St. Mary’s hospital, in Grand Rapids, from heart trouble. Mr. Barker visited 
his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Braden, last week.  They were called to Grand 
Rapids Sunday by what proved to be his fatal illness, as he died Wednesday 
morning.

Mr. Barker was in business in Lake Odessa for several years.  He has recently 
been interested in oil products in Muskegon. 

W. Wortley and F. Baine, our undertakers, brought the body to Lake Odessa 
where the funeral will be held.
