Bellah, 78, passed away on May 27. She was born on May 8, 1924 in Pocahontas, Ark. the daughter of Humphrey and Tilda (Martin) Hogan. Mrs. Bellah loved her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, loved to cook, and go camping with her relatives. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband, Vonda L. Bellah of Portland; daughter, LaVonda Lee (Jerry R.) Simon of Lansing; son, Danny Wallace Gray of Portland; grandchildren, Angela D. Gray, Tami J. Pitts, Jeremy L. Simon, Megan E. Simon; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Travis, Corey, Kiefer, Carley; sisters, Ovida (J.C.) Lewis of Lepanto, Ark. and Bonnie (Gene) Shinnal of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Dick (Jessie) Hogan of Portland; several nieces and nephews. Services were conducted by the Rev. Jim Howard, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Portland May 30 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland with Interment following at Portland Cemetery.
