The Portland Review and Observer, September 30, 2007

Dorothy Jane Blackman, age 89, a native of Orange Township, MI and formerly of 
Portland, MI died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at a healthcare facility in 
Daphne, Ala.

Mrs. Blackman was a retired worker in the automobile supply industry and was a 
member of Portland United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Russell B. Blackman of Daphne and 2 sons, 
Robbin R. (Caroline) Blackman of Daphne and Michael J. Blackman of 
Oosterville, MA. She has 3 granddaughters, Lynette Offerosky, Deborah Blackman 
and Kelly (Neil) Bently and 3 great grandsons, Shaun Offerosky, Colin Bently 
and Ryan Bently. 

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Hughes 
Cremation & Funeral Services of Daphne, Ala.  In lieu of flowers, memorial 
donations may be made to Portland United Methodist Church or to Catherine 
Place, Daphne, Ala.
