The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 18, 1959

Funeral service for Mrs. Mabel Bloomer, 76, 213 Lytle street, who died Friday 
morning at Paynette, Wis., was held at the First Christian church of Ionia 
Monday at 3 p.m.  The Rev. Court Adams of Lansing officiated and Mrs. Doris 
Cox of Grand Rapids presided at the organ.  Bethany Sunday school class, of 
which she was a member, attended in a group. 

Bearers were Carl Seabrook, Frank Judevine, Frank Hall, Glenn Gould, Frank 
Morgan and Clyde Markham.  Interment was at Balcom cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Myers funeral home.

Those attending from out of town were Mrs. Grace Bloomer, William A. Bloomer 
and Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Geddis of Flint; Florence Rier, Marcella M. Clark and 
Mrs. Robert Clark of Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Esche of Grand Ledge, Mr. and 
Mrs. Vernal Scutt and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clements of Portland; Mr. and Mrs. 
Paul Tingley, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hawley of Greenville; John Shawhan of Saginaw, 
Zena Malcolm, Ben Seeley and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Seeley, Camden; Mrs. Maxine 
Simmons of Trufant, Mrs. George Johnston of Muir and Mrs. Adeline Balzell and 
the Rev. Court Adams of Lansing.
