Ionia County News, 22 May 1947

Jonas Blough, 71, a patient sufferer from a stroke for nine years passed away
Tuesday night at his home in Clarksville.  He was married to Fanny Woods of
Bowne township and for the past several years they resided on their farm
southeast of the village.  Not being able to farm they moved to the village
where he has been confined to his bed for several years.  Besides the wife he
leaves a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Robbins, and a son Ivan of Clarksville, and three
grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Friday at the Beattie Funeral Home
and burial was in the Clarksville cemetery.  Rev. Paul L. Boger officiated at
the service and pall bearers were neighbors of the family when they lived on the
farm.
