Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Mar 1982

Funeral services for Louis W. Bookie Sr., 74, of 1830 W. Lincoln Ave., Ionia,
who died March 2 in St. Lawrence Hospital, Lansing, were held Friday at 1 p.m.
from SS. Peter and Paul Church.  The funeral mass was celebrated by the Rev.
Henry Dondzila.  Organist was Mrs. Renate Conrad. 

Pallbearers were grandsons Phillip, Frank, Steve, Victor, and Bill Bookie, and
John Misner.  Burial was in Balcom Cemetery.

Following services a luncheon was served to family and friends at Temple Baptist
Church.  Arrangements were made by Leddick Funeral Home.
