Portland Review, 7 Jan 1919

The remains of Joseph Bradley were brought to Portland Friday, from Grand 
Ledge, where he died Thursday.  They were taken to Bandfield’s undertaking 
rooms and burial was on Saturday afternoon.  There was no public funeral on 
account of the quarantine rules, but Rev. T.F. Gait offered prayer at the 
grave.  Mr. Bradley was born in Portland 39 years ago.  He was a son of the 
late Chas. Bradley and a brother of Mrs. Wm. Klein.  He had worked at the tile 
factory in Grand Ledge about three years.
