Donald J. Brandt, 57, of Muir, died Tuesday, June 21, 1994 at University of
Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.  He was born Dec. 30, 1936 in Odessa
Township the son of William and Geneva (Lance) Brandt.  He attended Woodland
Public Schools.  He married Sharon Reeder in September of 1958.

Mr. Brandt was an employee of the Mitchel Bentley plant in Ionia and the Lyons
Chrysler trim plant.  He retired in 1992 as the maintenance worker from Palo
Public Schools.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; two sons Donald L. Brandt and Jeffrey Brandt
both of Muir; four brothers, Ray Brandt of Hastings, Max Brandt and Kenneth
Brandt both of Lake Odessa and Carl Brandt of Saranac; two sisters, Betty Green
of Portland and Ruth Rock of Ionia; one grandchild.

The family will receive callers Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral
services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.  Burial
will be in Muir Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established for the
Lyons/Muir First Responders.
