Mrs. Augusta Brandt Dies at the Age of 76

Mrs. Augusta Brandt, 76, widow of the late Fred Brandt, died at the Roush 
Convalescent home at Ionia Wednesday. She came to this country from Germany in 
1905, and has resided in this vicinity and at Woodbury since then.

Surviving are five sons, William and Robert of Lake Odessa, Richard and Frank of 
Portland and Ernest of Lansing; two daughters, Mrs. Marion Clem of Carlton 
Center and Mrs. Freida Corey of Grand Ledge.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 at the Pickens chapel with burial in 
Woodland Memorial cemetery. Rev. Joseph Speas will officiate.
