Excerpts from Greenville obituary

RONALD R. BRISTOL

Died August 28, 2026-age 88 at home in Crystal surrounded by family.
Born August 10, 1938 in Orleans,MI to Frank & ALice (Hawley) Bristol.
Ron was one of nine children. Ron & brother Don married sisters.
Ron married JoAnn on September 15, 1956, he had met her when he was 13.
Ron & JoAnn raised eight children, Shirley Thomas,Shelia Lanning, Ronald Richard 
Bristol Jr.,Rebecca Bristol, the late Susan Felty, Andrea Kelsay, John Bristol & 
Jamie Bolf.
They were blessed with 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 11 great-
great-grandchildren.
Ron worked for General Motors in Lansing for 35 years, retired at age 55, then 
worked for Daily News for another five years alongside JoAnn.
Ron & JoAnn enjoyed camping on their property in Gowen.
He loved motorcycle trips with his brother & sister in-law, fishing trips to 
Canada.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Alice Bristol, eight siblings, Orval, 
Mavis, Lester, Arthur, Theodore, Donald, Rosetta & Gary, his daughter, Susan 
Felty.
Survived by his wife JoAnn & his children.
No funeral
