   Excerpts from Saranac Obituary

      ROBERT DALE BURMABIA

Died Friday September 5, 2025-age 86 of Lowell.
Born April 10, 1939 Byron Center, son of Simon & Martha (DeVries) Burmania.
Married on January 1, 1992 to the Love of his life,  Kathleen McNeil.
Bob served in the National Guard.
Was an active member of the Lowell Methodist Church & a founding member of 
Woodhaven Church.
Bob earned a degree in accounting from Davenport University.
He was a third generation John Deere Dealer in Byron Center, a long-haul truck 
driver compiling 2 million miles & countless safety awards.
He joined his friends in a remodeling company building a habitat house as well 
as many other homes.
He worked for Atrium as a service representative for 5 states.
He lastly worked at Saskatoon golf course serving in many roles.
Upon retiring he enjoyed raising sheep with his wife, Kathleen.
Bob enjoyed outdoors kayaking, biking, skiing & farming.
Survived by his wife Kathleen of Lowell, children, Laurie (Brian) Popma of Byron 
Center, Mike (Julie) Burmania of Middleville, Mark(Audrey)Burmania of Morley, 
stepchildren, Wendy (Brian) Justema of Belmont & Matthew Silverman of Lowell.
Grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Maggie, Matt, Nick, Arron, Katie, Francine, 
Corey, Michael, Winnie, Wyatt, Levi, Liam, Quinn & Mannix; 10 great-
grandchildren & sister, Carole Isenhoff.
Preceded in death by his stepson, Will Silverman, sisters, Joanne(Bob) Beaute, 
Mary (Jack) Walburg & brother-in-law, Stuart.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 
Lowell United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 19, from 4-7 PM at the Lake Funeral Home 
in Saranac & one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the family.
