Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs.- February 20, 1975

Services Fri for Maude E. Buxton
Mrs. Maude E. Buxton, 85, passed away Tuesday morning at Pennock Hospital after 
being hospitalized since Sunday.

She was born July 27,, 1889 at Ionia, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Haskins) 
Cox and had attended the Ionia Schools.

She married Herbert L. Buxton at Ionia in December 1913 & moved to Lake Odessa 
in 1918. Mr. Buxton passed away in 1955.

Surviving are three sons, Herbert  and Ellsworth of Lake Odessa and Harold John 
Buxton of Ionia; three grandchildren of ionia; six great-grandchildren; a 
sister, Mrs.Mabel Mason of Ionia and a brother, Francis Cox of Ionia.

Mrs. Buxton reposes at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel at Lake Odessa where 
funeral services will be  held at 1:30 Friday, Rev. Nolan Williams of the Zion 
United Methodist Church will officiate with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
