Excerpts from Belding Obituary

Paula Jo (Reeves)Byrne

Died Friday June 26, 2026-age 60 of Belding, MI.
Born March 10, 1966 in Greenville, daughter of Paul & Joan (Hessler)Reeves.
Paula graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1984 & later attended 
Baker College, then graduated from Phoenix University with an Associated of Arts 
Degree.
Her earliest years she worked in Human Resources for Carion in Greenville & 
later served Otisco Township, fist as deputy supervisor then deputy treasurer & 
later was elected twice as treasurer.
She served the township with integrity & professionalism. She knew budgets, 
numbers & how to deliver the best service to the residents.
Paula enjoyed kayaking on the Flat River.
She is survived by her children, Derek (Rebekah Scofield) Byrne of Palo, Katelyn 
(Rick Knopik) Mogdis of Belding, Bryan (Kaitlyn Bko) Byrne of Smyrna, her 
grandchildren, Brooklynn, Lynzee, Thomas, Addison, Kelsey, Briella, Adora, her 
mother Joan Reeves of Belding, Her sisters, Kimberly (Michael) Huler of 
Farmington hills, Shawn Reeves of Saugatuck, Angela Bush of Belding, and her 
faithful & loving black lab, Zeus.
Preceded in death by her father, Paul, a sister Lisa infancy, her grandparents, 
Howard & Inez Reeves and Paul & Mildred Hessler.
Celebration of life will be Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2-4 PM at the Barn at 
Adams Acres, 10655 Belding Road Belding, MI.
In lieu of flower, memorial may be given to the B Foundation. 
Private interment will be at Smyrna Cemetery.
