Erridge Clark, 62, former Ionia resident, will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Leddick funeral home. Rev. George Chaffee of Zion United Methodist church will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery. Mrs. Clark, who lived at 606 Cedar, Grayling, died Monday morning at Mercy hospital in Grayling. She had been in ill health the past two years. Born in Odessa township, October 7, 1909, she was the daughter of Marion and Mabel Eldridge Hummel. She attended rural schools and lived most of her life in Ionia area. She had worked at Fisher Body company in Lansing 26 years. She and her husband managed the American Discount store in Ionia in 196? before moving to Grayling. She was a member of Women of the Moose lodge at Grayling. Surviving besides her husband, Max Clark, are a son, John Erridge of Ionia; three daughters, Mrs. Neil Garfield of Battle Creek, Mrs. George Whitelock and Mrs. Kay Crissman of Ionia; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four brothers, LeRoy, Morris and Richard Hummel of Vermontville and Glenn Hummel of Beaverton. Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Ella Walton, Mrs. Nellie Harvey of Charlotte, Mrs. Ray West of Lansing, Mrs. William Maddox of Missouri and Mrs. Don Thompson of Vermontville.
