The Ionia Standard, Friday, September 4, 1874

On the 14th of August, very suddenly of heart disease, Mrs. Wealthy B. Clark, 
wife of Peter Clark, of this city; aged 67 years.

Mrs. Clark was born at Bennington, Vt., in 1807.  At an early age she removed 
to Orangeville, N.Y., where at the age of sixteen she experienced religion and 
united with the Presbyterian Church.  In 1837 she removed to Michigan.  She 
has been a resident of this place ten years, and was well known to many of our 
citizens.  Her summons home came very suddenly, but it found her prepared.  
She was an earnest Christian woman, a faithful wife, and a devoted mother; and 
although she has gone to her rest, her works of love remain to testify of her.
