Ionia Daily Standard, 9 Jun 1898

Mrs. Mary A. Comstock, of Fairplains, was buried last Sunday in the Clarksville
cemetery.  She was nearly 82 years old, and was a member of the United Brethren
church for nearly fifty years.  The Comstocks are among the early settlers of
this county.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. D.H. Shelly.
