Lois Cornelisse Passes Away
Funeral services for Mrs. Lois J. Cornelisse, 39, of route 1, Lake Odessa were held
Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at the Morris-Roetman Funeral Home in Saranac. Rev. Christian 
church of Ionia officiated with interment at Saranac Cemetery.

Mrs. Cornelisse died early Monday morning, December 2, at Butterworth hospital in
Grand Rapids following a short illness. She was born June 6, 1929 in Ionia, the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anslow and lived in the Ionia and Saranac area all her life.

She had been employed as secretary for the Carr agency, Welch and Watt attorneys,
Rex O'Connor, and was formerly employed at the Michigan Training Unit in charge of the 
records department.

Besides her husband, Arthur, she leaves a son, Glenn, at home; four daughters, Mrs.
Leslie McGee of Saranac, Carol Cornelisse of Flint, Janice and Amy, at home; parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Anslow of Ionia; one sister, Mrs.Norma Mead of Ionia.
