The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, June 28, 1960
Charles Daniels, 60, Sunfield died at 5 a.m. Tuesday at his home after a long 
illness.  He was a former Sebewa resident and son of Tillison and Ethel 
Daniels and was born June 10, 1900.  Previous to his retirement he had been a 
farmer most of his life but at one time was employed in a shop in Lansing.  

Surviving are his wife, the former Bette Catlin; five sons, Verle of Conoga, 
California, Virgil of Tucson, Arizona, Gerald of Sturgis, Charles Jr. of 
Lansing and Duane of Griffiss Air Force Base, Rome, New York; one brother, 
Laverne Daniels and one sister, Mrs. Burr Jackson of Lake Odessa, and 
grandchildren.  

Funeral service will be held at the Mapes Funeral home in Sunfield Friday at 2 
p.m. with burial at the Baptist cemetery.
