Ionia Daily Standard, 31 Aug 1907

Mrs. Ellen C. DeLong passed away on Friday night at ten o’clock at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. F.A. Miller, Lafayette street, after a long illness.  She was
aged 51 years, and was born at Blissfield, Mich.  Of the immediate family, two
children survive, Mrs. Miller of this city, and Mrs. Crume of Moline, Ill., both
of whom have been at the bedside for several weeks, in anticipation of the final
call.  Funeral on Sunday at 12 o’clock, Rev. F.H. Blunt officiating, with
interment in Highland Park.
