KAY F. DICKENS 1939-2016
Kay F. Dickens, 76, of Hamilton, formerly of Belding, went to be with her Lord
Wednesday evening, June. 8, 2016 in Hamilton under the loving care of her family and Hospice
of Holland. Kay was born on Nov. 4, 1939 in Carson City, the daughter of Doyle and
Lorraine (Buckle) Alexander.

She graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1958 and had worked many 
years with the Upjohn Company. Kay was a member of the Belding VFW ladies
Auxiliary.

She enjoyed watching football and baseball, enjoyed knitting, reading and was a
diehard Lions fan. Kay enjoyed traveling, an occasional trip to the casino, and spending
time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul D. Dickens, her son Paul G. Dickens,
her parents and three brothers; James, Donald and Edson.

Kay is loved and survived by her children, Edward (Sharon) Dickens of Galesburg,
Donald (Beth) Dickens of Hamilton, and Katherine (Darrell) Dow of Louisville, Kentucky; her
grandchildren, Joanna, Paul, Dan, Ken, Renee, Melissa, Jacob, Andrew, Joshua, and 
Jackson; her great grandchildren; Hunter, Brianna, Zachary, Jacob and River; and her
siblings, Rebecca (Teaner) Austin of Belding and Charles (Doris) Alexander of
Florida.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday June 12, 2016 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral
Home, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the
service. Committal prayers will be 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Custer National Cemetery near
Augusta.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial  to the Belding Library or Hospice of
