The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, January 30, 1970

Mrs. Ada E. Dobbins, 93, died Friday morning at Albion Manor nursing center 
following an illness of eight months.  She was born January 17, 1877 in 
Poplar, district of London, England.  Married in 1920 to Richard P. Dobbins in 
Ionia, he preceded her in death in 1949.  She left Ionia 13 years ago.

A member of SS Peter and Paul church, she was also a charter member of Altar 
Rosary society, Daughters of Isabella and was also active in American Red 
Cross.

Surviving are a son, Richard H. Dobbins of Concord; two daughters, Mrs. Fred 
McFall of Boyne City and Mrs. Sylvester Lonier of DeWitt; 17 grandchildren and 
22 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dobbins will be at Myers funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.  Rosary will 
be recited at the funeral home Sunday at 7:30 p.m. and requiem high mass will 
be Monday at 10 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul church. Interment will be at Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.
