Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Dec 1946

William Walker Downing, 59, died Saturday at his home near Woodland.  He was
formerly of West Sebewa.  He was born January 28, 1887, in West Sebewa, where he
spent most of his life.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Myron Badder of Ionia, and a brother, Thomas
Downing, of West Sebewa.

Services will be held from the Wing and Pickens funeral home in Woodland Tuesday
at 2 p.m. and interment will be at the Woodland cemetery.
