The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Saturday, January 22, 1949
Funeral services for Mrs. Fleda Eddy, who died Monday afternoon were held 
Friday at 2 o’clock at the Stone funeral home conducted by the Rev. Dayne 
Davis, pastor of the Ionia Church of Chirst.  Bearers were Dr. Horace 
Winchell, Carl Christensen, Frank Stout, Robert Eddy, Russell Eddy and James 
Eddy.  Interment was in the family lot at Balcom cemetery.  Burton L. Reed 
assisted with the flowers.  From out-of-town attending were Mr. and Mrs. 
Russell Dodge and son, Harlon Dodge, of Ann Arbor; Mr. and Mrs. James Eddy of 
Chicago; Mrs. C. VanDalen of Midland; Mrs. Blanche Eddy, Miss Mildred Eddy, 
Ralph Eddy and Mrs. Harriet Morrison of Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Eddy, 
Mr. and Mrs. D. Robert Eddy, Mr. and Mrs. Donald D. Eddy, and Mrs. Catherine 
Crawford of Lansing; and Mrs. Rudolph Johnson of Muskegon.
