(Andres) Edgley passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Metron of Belding following a long, courageous battle with Huntington's Disease. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Leo P. and Bernita (Simmons) Andres; brother, Rod Andres; sister, Judith L. Andres; step mother, Margaret. Marsha was a lifetime member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and graduated from Ss. Peter and Paul High School in June of 1966. Following her graduation from high school she went on to Central Michigan University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1970. With the exception of a few short years living in Scottsdale, AZ, she lived her entire life in the Ionia area. While living in Arizona, Marsha was employed as an accounts representative for Mountain Bell. Marsha was a very creative person and enjoyed anything to do with nature. She liked to go hiking in the woods, growing a garden, planting and caring for flowers, and making dried floral arrangements. She loved watching the birds and would do so for hours at a time. Due to her longevity at Metron of Belding, the staff there became very attached to Marsha. She will be missed and remembered for her pleasant smile and cooperative attitude. After a period of time residing in Arizona, Marsha returned to live in the Ionia area. She is survived by a nephew, Adam Andres and his family; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Andres; step sister, Janet Bookie and her family. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich Street, Ionia, with Rev. Thomas Boufford of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church presiding. Interment will take place in the spring at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
