CHARLEVOIX- Funeral services for Albert V. Edwards, 86, who died Oct. 20 were 
held at the Winchester Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Oct. 26. The Rev. David W. 
Yingling of the United Methodist Church officiated.

Interment was in Brookside Cemetery.

Born in Charlevoix on June 22, 1897, he was married in 1922 to Charlotte 
Edwards at Boyne City. They made their home there.

He was associated with the Edwards truck farm and Edwards Florist until his 
retirement.

His wife preceded him in death in 1961. In September 1961 he married Ida 
Wickersham, who died in May 1981.

He served briefly in the U.S. Navy and was a former member of the Knights of 
Pythias. 

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Ruth) North of Ionia and Mrs. Ray 
(Elaine) Shearer of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren and a brother, Arthur S., of Charlevoix.
