Ionia County News, 23 Mar 1933

Mrs. Anna Pearl Elzy was born July 12, 1900, in Berlin township and died at her
home here March 20.  She was taken ill with pneumonia March 14 and March 17 she
gave birth to a six and three-quarter pound daughter.  She lived in Indiana for
a short time, then came to Saranac twelve years ago.  Besides her husband, she
leaves three daughters, Lucille, 10 years, Luella, eight years, Shirley Ruth,
three days, and one son, Floyd, 14, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Tarsner,
one sister, Mrs. Sarah Curtis, and brother, Samuel Tanner, all of Berlin.  The
funeral will be at the home in Saranac at two o’clock Thursday afternoon and at
the Methodist church at two-thirty.  Reverend Shirley will officiate and burial
will be in Saranac cemetery.
