Ionia County News - thursday Dec. 11, 1930

Funeral took place this morning in Elmdale for Mrs. Mary Ann Erb, 85, who died 
Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Gable at Perkasie, 
Pennsylvania of old age. The services were held from the home of a son, 
Addison. The old Mennonite funeral ritual was used and was conducted by Rev. A. 
Hoffman, of Charlotte.

Mrs. Erb was a resident of Campbell township until a year ago. Born at 
Waterloo, Canada, she spent the earlier part of her life in Kent county but 
lived for 41 years in Ionia county.

Surviving are three sons, Daniel, of Delton; Austin, of Alto; Addison of 
Elmdale and two daughters, Mrs. Clara Sallman, of Rochester, N.Y. and Mrs. 
Gable, of Pennsylvania.
