Roslyn Mary Fahrni, 88, passed away on August 17, 2014. Roslyn was preceded in 
death by her husband Bruce of 57 years. 

She is survived by her two Daughters Joy Horning of Alto and JoAnn (Jerry) 
Leazenby of Clarksville; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; eight 
great grandchildren; sister-in-law Doris McCaul; several nieces and nephews and 
special friends Allen and Roger MacDonald. 

Roslyn farmed all her life with her husband Bruce.  Together they were inducted 
into the Farmers Hall of Fame in 1994.  Roslyn started the Boston-Saranac 
Historical Society.  She loved history including giving talks on American 
Indians.  She enjoyed collecting antiques, sewing and taking care of the 
animals. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the 
South Boston Bible Church, 6958 Kyser Rd. Lowell.  Visitation will be on 
Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.  Those wishing may make 
memorial contributions to Boston-Saranac Historical Society or Faith Hospice.
