Mrs. John Freeman Succumbs At Age 65

Services were held Mon., July 5 in South Boston for Mrs. John Freeman, age 85,
who passed away at her home in South Boston July 3 after a short illness.  The
Rev. David F. Warner officiated with interment in South Boston cemetery.  Mrs.
Freeman was born April 3, 1883 in South Dakota to Frank and Lucy O’Harrow and
while a small child they came to South Boston where she lived the rest of her
life.  On April 27, 1904, she married John P. Freeman and to this union was born
two sons who preceded her in death and one daughter.  She is survived by her
husband, John, and one daughter, Mrs. Bernard Kropf of Lowell, one grandson and
several cousins.  Mrs. Freeman was active in all community affairs and will be
greatly missed by all.
