She was born May 3, 1870, at Dryden, the daughter of Reuben and Lucy Gould, and on June 12, 1895 she was united in marriage to Henry Friedly, who passed away last November 17th. For the past 46 years Mrs. Friedly had lived in this city where she was an active member of the Methodist church and its various organizations. She was also a member of the O.E.S. The only survivors are a brother, T.P. Gould, of Detroit and a sister, Mrs. O.T. Wells of Flint. Funeral services were held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Fitzjohn funeral home. Rev. William Blanding, pastor of the Methodist church officiating and the body was placed in the mausoleum in River Ridge cemetery.
