Escellie Grace Frost (Scheid), 93, of Saranac, died Saturday.  She was born 
December 30, 1899 in Saranac, the daughter of William and Ida Garfield Henry.  
She was graduated from Saranac High School in 1917 and attended County 
Normal.  

She married Earl F. Scheid in 1924.  He preceded her in death in 1958.  She 
married Harold Frost in 1968.  He preceded her in death in 1987.

She was a past member of Eastern Star, Saranac; past member of the Ladies 
American Legion Auxiliary; and a past member of the Ladies Literary Club.  

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Lichty of Flint; three grandchildren; 
and three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and 
one sister.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Funeral Home, Saranac, with 
the Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer officiating.  The family will be at the funeral 
home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Burial will be in the Saranac 
Cemetery.  A memorial has been established for Scheid Park, in care of the 
funeral home.
