Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Jun 1964

Funeral service for Emmett I. Getts, 69, of 225 Lafayette street was conducted
Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. Ray R. Fassett, pastor of Evangelical United
Brethren church.  Burial was at Crystal cemetery.  Bearers will William Sherman,
Wallace Perrien, John Toutenhoofd, Emery Vermilya, Wayne Cline and Frank Mitchell.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Burdette Gambee of Harvard, Mrs.
May Rickerd of Crystal, Mrs. Vera Johnson, Mrs. Tessa VanVleit and Mrs. Maurice
Potts of Adrian; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ernst and family, and Mrs. Lewis Bacon of
Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hinman, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hinman and Mr. and Mrs.
Darwin Hinman of Clawson; Mrs. Marvin Reed, Mrs. Anna McBride, Helen McBride,
Mrs. Lorena McDuff and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Stearns of Greenville; Mrs. Sam Miles
of Howard City, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Gambee of Cedar Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Brand of Sheridan, Mrs. Tom Christiansen and Mrs. Mertie Smith of Palo, and Mrs.
Edrie Wolverton of Muir.
