Timothy Ray “Tim” Gibbs, 54, of Belding, died unexpectedly Monday morning, June 
9, 2014 at Spectrum Health in Greenville.  Tim was born on June 27, 1959 in 
Greenville, the son of Max and Marion (Borden) Gibbs. 

On January 29, 1983 in Belding, Tim married Ronda LeBel and together they 
enjoyed 31 years of marriage.  Tim attended Belding Schools, was a member of 
St. Joseph Catholic Church, was an avid guitar player, enjoyed ice fishing and 
loved spending time with family, friends and especially with his grandchildren; 
Jackson and Greenlee “ Bubbles”.  Tim was hardworking, honest, enjoyed helping 
others and took great pride in keeping up his 27 acres and the families on it.  
He was currently working at Gallagher Farms. 

Tim will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Tim is loved and 
survived by his wife Ronda and their children; Christine Gibbs, Tia Gibbs both 
of Belding and Timothy Campbell of Greenville, his grandchildren; Jackson, 
Greenlee, Brandon, Jasen and Courtnee, his brothers and sisters; Max (Allean) 
Gibbs, Yvonne (Gordon) Stene, Yvette Chittenden, all of Belding, Kelly (Sue) 
Gibbs of AZ, Scott Gibbs and Cindy (Steve) Petro, all of Belding, brother-in-
laws and sister-in-laws; Joe (Denise) LeBel, Sandi (Kevin) Bannister and John 
(Marcia) LeBel, Miles Benedict III, Jackie (Dan) Clark, his mother-in-law 
Claire “Grammy” Benedict all of Belding, several nieces, nephews, and longtime 
friend Jimmy Roberts.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents and one son, 
Adam Campbell. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church; Belding with Father Darrel Kempf presiding.  Committal prayers 
will follow in Orleans Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 
to 8 p.m. Thursday with a rosary prayed at 7:30 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home, Belding.  Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph 
Catholic Church or Belding Freedom Wall.
