Lake Odessa Wave, 5 Nov 1964

Cleofas Gonzales 72 of 1611 Jordan Lake avenue passed away Tuesday evening at
the Bide-A-Wee Home at Belding after a long illness but had been at the
convalescent home for several weeks.

A native of Laredo Texas, he came to the Lake Odessa area in 1948 and was
employed by the Lake Odessa Canning company until retiring because of his
health.  His wife Delores passed away, November 26, 1957.

Surviving are three sons Longino and Faustino of Saginaw and Rodolph of Lake
Odessa; 19 grand children and a brother Paul of Lake Odessa.

Mr. Gonzales reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel where the Rosary will be
recited at 7:30 Thursday evening.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 10
a.m. at St. Edwards church with Rev. Fr. Raymond Pattok officiating.  Burial
will be in Lakeside cemetery.
