March 17, 2018 Edwin D. Grawburg LAKEVIEW, MI. -Edwin D. Grawburg, age 70, of Lakeview, formerly of Lake Odessa, passed at his home after a short illness. Ed was born on July 15, 1947 to Frederick H. and Katherine (Wingeier) Grawburg in Hastings. Ed was a 1966 graduate of Lakewood High School. Ed worked as truck driver for Care Free in Charlotte and as a fork lift operator at Twin City foods during bean season, along with volunteering at the Lake Odessa fair for many years. In 1986 he married Sharon Needham and she survives. He was a big fan of racing especially dirt track racing. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sharon; children, Diane Brochue, Brad (Elly) Phillips, Donna Fletcher, Tommy (Jeanne) Grawburg, Talena Grawburg; special friend, Megan (Rob) Miller and family, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, John (Cathy) Grawburg; along with many nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenny Phillips; and brother, Ferdinand R. Grawburg. The family would like to give a special thanks to Spectrum Health Cancer floor nurse Melanie and Spectrum Health home Hospice. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Koops Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Woodland Memorial Park, Woodland Township.
