Greenberg, of Ionia, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014 after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. She was born on March 5, 1928 to Cuba and Edward Croley of Brodhead, Kentucky. She attended Brodhead High School, and after graduation she went to Dayton College of Nursing, earning her R.N. in 1950. Mrs. Greenberg worked as a nurse, retiring in 1982. Delores enjoyed the outdoors, walleye fishing, camping, arts and crafts, but most important to her was her family. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Surviving are her two sons, Darrell Greenberg and Paul Greenberg, both of Ionia; granddaughter, Chrystal, of Columbus, OH; sister, Velma (Bob) Pingleton of Lynchburg, OH; brother, J.D. Croley of Eaton, OH; a very special thank you to Lois Walker, whose help has been immeasurable. The Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia with Pastor Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church presiding. Interment will follow at Balcom Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
