Belding Banner News-Thurs. Dec. 5, 1968

ELSIE GERTRUDE GREENE
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home for

Mrs. Elsie Gertrude Greene, 78, of 1437 West State Street.

Rev. Wilford D.Wood officiated. Interment was at Otisco Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Wilson, Laurence Hodge, C. Fuller Dorr, Wiliam Davis, Richard
Wagner and Temple Robinson Jr.

Mrs. Green died Sunday at Belding Christian Nursing Home. She had been a resident of
Belding for the past 50 years.

She was born August 22, 1890 in England, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Farmer.
She was married to Clifton Greene who passed away in June, 1955.

Mrs. Greene was a member of First Congregational Church, Social Circle and the
Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Greene of
Belding and Cousins in Canada.
