The Haney family came here from the country northwest of town. The family consisted of the father, mother and four sons. The mother died about five years ago. The sons Arthur and Lloyd have passed on. Arthur died several years ago and Lloyd was accidentally killed a few years ago. Edward resides in Ionia and Claud, the youngest, resides in Lake Odessa. Mr. Haney had been fishing in the lake and was returning, when in front of the Mrs. Frankie Braden residence he was stricken. He was taken to the Dr. M. A. Hoffs office where he was found to have expired. The funeral will be held at the Calvary church where the deceased attended, Friday afternoon at two o’clock. Burial will be at Lakeside beside the body of his wife.
