The Lowell Journal, Thursday, September 22, 1887
Lewis Hart, one of Keene’s most highly respected pioneers, was buried last 
Wednesday at the age of 84 years.  He had lived in Keene 42 years.  Geo. Hart, 
of Keene, Frank Hart, of Berlin, and Milo Hart are his sons.  He leaves a 
large circle of friends and relatives to mourn his death.
