Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 May 2015

Laura K. Hatinger, 90, of Ionia, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, May 14,
2015.  She was born on Sept. 10, 1925, in LaGrange, Indiana, the daughter of
John and Sadie (Cowell) Jones.  Mrs. Hatinger loved the outdoors and nature,
gardening, fishing, shopping, going to the Ionia Free Fair, but especially loved
her family and grandchildren.  Laura lived at Thompson’s A.F.C. home in Ionia
since 2010.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Weston L. Hatinger, who passed
away on April 6, 1998.  Surviving are her sons, Dean and Carol Newman, and Chuck
and Robin Hatinger; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Lehman
Funeral Homes, 220 Rich St., Ionia.  Interment will follow at Balcom Cemetery,
Ionia.  The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the time of the
service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
