MRS. TINA HECKATHORN
LYONS-A patient a Muir nursing home the past two years Mrs. Tina Heckathorn, 
89, died late Friday.

She was born November 28, 1876, at Colon, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob 
Rich. She married Bert Heckathorn in 1910. They owned and operated the old 
Muir hotel from 1911 to 1916, then moved to a farm near Nashville. Mr. 
Heckathorn died in 1932. Mrs. Heckathorn returned to Muir in 1938 where she 
has made her home until the present.

Mrs. Heckathorn was a member of Muir Presbyterian church and the Woman's 
Society.

Surviving are one brother, J.D. Rich of Battle creek, and several nieces.

The body will be at Shaw-Rivertt-Hull Funeral home in Muir until 10 a.m. 
Monday when it will removed to Muir Presbyterian Church for services oat 11 
a.m.. Rev. Manson Lowe will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Athens 
cemetery.
