Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Jan 1966

Lawrence R. Hildinger, 778, of 2016 Lyons street, Lansing, died at Ingham 
County Medical hospital Tuesday evening following a two-week illness.

He was born November 6, 1887 at Woodbury, the son of George and Christina Smith 
Hildinger.  Since 1929 he had resided in Lansing and retired from Oldsmobile in 
1955.

Mr. Hildinger was a life member of Sunfield F&AM.

His wife, the former Cora Linhart, died February 14, 1964.

Surviving are a son, Jack of Lansing; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Strickland of 
Battle Creek; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Byron 
Hildinger of Ann Arbor.

Funeral service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake 
Odessa with burial at Lakeside cemetery.  Officiating will be the Rev. Luther 
Brokaw.
