Ionia Daily Sentinel, 13 Oct 1910

The death of Andrew Hinsley occurred at the home of John Gardner, 346 Division
Street, at nine-thirty Wednesday evening.  Mr. Hinsley was 74 years of age being
born in Canada, moving to Ionia 27 years ago.  For the past nine years he has
been employed as a cobbler in the rear of J. C. Beattie’s store.  Mr. Hinsley is
survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gardner and Mrs. Hattie Clark, of Ionia, Mrs.
John Firster, of Flint, and Mrs. Sam Orgler, of Seattle, Wash.,  And also twelve
grandchildren.  Since the death of his wife, four years ago last June, Mr.
Hinsley has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. John Gardner, where the
funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Mr. Kallan of the M.E. Church
officiating.  Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
